Here is what you need to get started, a mere 6 ingredients:
Fettuccine Alfredo
1 lb. Fettuccine Noodles
1 stick Butter
1 c. Heavy Cream
Salt & Pepper, to taste
2 c. Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
Cook pasta according to package directions.
In a saucepan or skillet, warm butter and cream. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Grate Parmesan cheese and place half of it into a large serving bowl. Pour warm butter/cream mixture over the top.
Drain pasta and immediately pour it into the bowl. Toss a couple of times, then sprinkle in the other half of the Parmesan.
Toss to combine, thinning with pasta water if necessary. Serve immediately as a main course or an accompaniment to meat or salad.

ReplyDeleteAnne! Isn't she great? Not only does she have great recipes, but she is a hoot! One of my favorite people. Anyway, I, too, love Fettuccine Alfredo. I use the recipe on the Ronzoni box! My son loves it. I will have to stop back here when I have some time and look at your older posts. Some of your recipes sound DELICOUS. Nice meeting you! I will become a Follower too. :)
